Teaching Philosophy
Music teaching is about inspiring a life-long passion for music.

Along the way, a student learns discipline, skills, coordination, and the joy of striving for perfection. The ability to perform and to express oneself is a great skill to learn early in life. Come share my lifelong passion for music.

I've taught music, played music and directed choirs in churches since I was a teenager. I've been involved with festivals, recitals, and concerts as a performer, teacher, and accompanist. Whether playing, teaching, conducting, or accompanying, my philosophy is always to do my best, and have fun doing it!

A student
I've been a student of Elizabeth's for six years. I would recommend her to students who wish to learn how to play the piano. She accommodates each student and cares about the lesson. I will continue to see Elizabeth until I have learnt how to play everything there is to know. -- John
